Secret #1:
My whole life I always said I’d never live in Utah and BAM here I am sitting in Pleasant Grove starting a blog. Which brings me to…
Secret #2:
I also always said that I’d never have a blog because that’s what boring married people do. First off I’m not married and second off I’m sooo not boring. I know, figure those two out. But peer pressure gets you every time! So here goes nothing.
Secret #3:
I’m homesick. Don’t tell my mom, I don’t like giving satisfaction. But really, I forget how civilized people have to wear their shoes around all the time. And how are you supposed to eat your breakfast and watch the sunrise with buildings and fences in the way?!
Old mornings:
...and just in case you were wondering, no, those aren't pumpkins in our garden. My daddy wouldn't allow it.
But check out my new morings:
Right after I got SO excited to have my own forest I looked out my bedroom window and noticed the neighbors had one too.
Secret #4:
I deeply miss tent of truth. I slumbered in it for over a month and learned some deep stuff about everyone! And noooooo it wasn’t gossip.
And here are my MIA tent buds:
Maggie, she was a fun girl.. come back to me.
Jessica, oh dear... secret #4.5 Sorry dad! Maroon and Gray all the way!
Secret #5:
I know my parents raised a bunch of us fine kids, plus a few strays, but they really worry me! How do I know that they’re going to remember to feed my orphan babies! I didn’t even get to see them grow their legs fully.
Jess, I, and our difficult journey to the orphanage.
The Tadpole Ophanage. So over crouded.
And this was the start of our family. I love you baby Christopher, Flipper, Troll, Squishy, Rompe, Thor, Edna, Mr.Toad, Fillipe, Maria, Jeddy, George, Tia, Prince Charming, and Polly!
Secret #6:
I know that everyone thinks their home is the best but I strongly truly believe that the basin of Washington is! Everyone just doesn’t know it yet..
Secret #7:
At the Vantage swimming area thing there’s this awesome spot that no one knows about. It’s got sand, shells and even a shady hut!! That’s just part of the secret though… you have to get timing right or the tides going to come in and so are the little spiders.
Secret #8:
Once upon a time there were wild horses in Washington. So wild that sometimes you can still see them! Now the secret is not being all sweaty when you get to the top for pictures.
Yes this is me doing my Jr. Miss wave. A proud moment.
Secret #9:
I really do love fishing. I’ll be the first to admit that I tend to make a mess of things. I’m kind of not really good at it but I still look forward to it! Every year Grandpa Ted takes a million people out on his boat and this year I actually got to go because I was around!
Example #1 of me getting my pole taken away... I not only got a fish but a tree.
